Barbara Heitkamp is a water resources educator for the East Metro Water Resource Education Program and the Lower St. Croix Watershed Partnership. Based out of the Washington Conservation District office near Oakdale, MN, Barbara’s role is to help inspire people to care about clean water, healthy ecosystems, and more sustainable management of our natural resources.
When not working, you’ll find Barbara with a book, on a hike, in the water (with her foldable kayak!), or spending her time adventuring with her husband and two young daughters.
